Trump Responds to Snoop Dogg Music Video’s Mock Assassination of ‘Ronald Klump’

Trump responds to Snoop Dogg music video’s mock assassination of ‘Ronald Klump’

Snoop Dogg’s new “Lavender” music video features a world of clowns, and one is clearly a President Trump parody.

In one climactic moment, Snoop Dogg aims a toy gun at that clown — “Ronald Klump” — and pulls the trigger. Glitter and a banner reading “Bang!” pop out.

Trump weighed in on that scene Wednesday morning, tweeting, “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”'
“Fox & Friends,” a show Trump is known to watch, ran a segment about the video Wednesday morning.

Is the two-time African footballer of the year finally ditching football for the music industry?

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba celebrated his 39th birthday on Saturday with a special Instagram post of him singing a remixed version of Davido's latest single - 'If'.

The former Montreal Impact and Marseille forward could be making a more organised collaboration with top artistes after lip-synching to the Nigerian artiste's latest hit in a car.

Drogba joined Chelsea in 2004 where he scored 157 goals in 347 games and also leading them to a historic Champions League triumph against Bayern Munich in 2012.

Rooney & Shaw Left Out of Man Utd Squad to Face Rostov

Rooney & Shaw left out of Man Utd squad

The England duo will not make the long trip to Russia to face Rostov, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been included in the selection by Jose Mourinho.

Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw have been left out of Manchester United’s squad for the Europa League trip to Rostov, it has been confirmed.

Rooney has fallen out of favour with manager Jose Mourinho in recent weeks and was not included in either squad for the encounters with Saint-Etienne in the previous round of the competition.

The England captain was heavily linked with a move to China throughout January but ultimately released a statement confirming that he would stay at the club.

Shaw has also been left out of the squad despite returning to Premier League action against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday, along with the still-exiled Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, meanwhile, has returned to the fold after missing the EFL Cup final win over Southampton and the encounter with Bournemouth due to a hamstring injury sustained against Etienne.

Eric Bailly is suspended for the first leg of the encounter but Zlatan Ibrahimovic could play despite facing disciplinary action in England for an alleged elbow on Cherries defender Tyrone Mings.

Luis Enrique: Barcelona Can Score Six Against PSG

The Barcelona boss believes his side have what it takes to make a historic comeback against PSG and reach the next round.

Luis Enrique: Barcelona can score six against PSG
Luis Enrique
Luis Enrique remains optimistic over Barcelona's chances of reaching the Champions League quarter-finals at the expense of Paris Saint-Germain and believes they could score six goals in Wednesday's return clash at Camp Nou.

The Catalans were hammered 4-0 in the first leg at the Parc des Princes, but Luis Enrique has not given up hope of staging a dramatic comeback.

"We are only halfway through the tie," the outgoing Barcelona coach told a news conference. "There are 95 minutes left and lots of things can happen.

"If a team can score four times against us, we can score six times against them. We have seen that before this season. We have nothing to lose.

"My optimism does not mean I have unbreakable faith, but there are all sorts of performances in sports, negatives and positives. We have not been in a situation like this before, but I have faith in the team. You always have to keep your emotions in check.

Barcelona will need star player Lionel Messi to be at his very best if they are to turn things around, but Luis Enrique is adamant it is all about the team effort.

"I look at all my players and they all have the attitude necessary," he added.

"I know everybody likes to focus on Messi and he is a point of reference who can make the difference, but this is going to be a team effort. The team effort is what matters."

Guardiola to Continue Man City Overhaul by Signing More Young Talents

Guardiola to continue Man City overhaul by signing more young talents

The Catalan says sporting director Txiki Begiristain is working on the summer transfer window and that the plan is to sign promising youngsters.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says the club are pressing ahead with plans for this summer's transfer window and will focus on buying young, promising players.

City are half-way through a two-stage plan to freshen up the playing squad, having signed John Stones, Claudio Bravo, Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Gabriel Jesus last summer.

Goal has learned that Guardiola privately laments the fact that he could not bring in more new players last summer, and was especially keen to overhaul the full-back area.

At the end of the season the club will prioritise new full-backs, a centre-back, a central midfielder, a forward and potentially two new goalkeepers, with the futures of both Bravo and Willy Caballero, whose contract expires this summer, in some doubt.

Guardiola, speaking to City's official website in Abu Dhabi recently, says plans are already in place.

"I am planning, Txiki is planning, the staff is planning, of course," he said. "The manager has to have one eye on the short, medium and the long term.

"We are buying for the long term, that is why Leroy is here, Raz [Sterling] is here, Gabriel is here. All of them around 20 years old, and except in one or two cases where we need experience and maybe we play a player who is 28 or 29 years old because we are sure he is going to give us two or three or four important years, but the younger they are the better."

Guardiola spoke to City shortly after he met with the club's owners to discuss not just the summer transfer window but what lies ahead.

Guardiola met City owner Sheikh Mansour, who bought the club in 2008, for the first time and the Catalan came away with the impression that he has been charged with laying the foundations for decades of success.

But he also admits there are some "mistakes" to correct when it comes to spending on transfer fees.

Michael Carrick Discusses Plans For The Future After Man United Testimonial Announcement

Michael Carrick doesn’t want to hang around at Manchester United if he can no longer reach the high standards he has set in the 11 seasons he has spent at Old Trafford.

He doesn’t want to be handed a contract extension out of sentimentality. He only wants to stay if he can still make a valuable contribution to Jose Mourinho’s evolving team.

At the moment, the midfielder still feels he can be an asset – as he proved when he came on at half-time at Wembley on Sunday to help Manchester United lift the EFL Cup and swell his impressive medals cabinet.

But he will be 36 in August and acknowledges the years and games can suddenly catch up on players. And he is anxious to bow out at the top rather than tarnish a great career with sub-standard displays.

He has spoken to former team-mates and other players about it.

“I’ve spoken to people but really you know in yourself,” he said. “There’s the pride element as well.

“I don’t want to be hanging around too long just for the sake of it. I understand I am not going to play every game. I haven’t really got a problem with that. I need to be playing enough though. I don’t want to be here just for the sake of ‘you’ve been here so long, let’s keep you on board’.

“I’d want to be going out when I still feel I’m contributing enough. It’s about getting the timing right.

“I was listening to Stevie Gerrard talk about it last year. It’s about getting that fine balance of when it’s not too late and it’s not too early.

“There’s no right or wrong. It’s about how you feel personally. For me, it’s a pride thing of knowing what you’ve achieved and the standards you’ve set that you don’t want to dropping right below them.”

Michael Carrick has won every honour in the game
Michael Carrick has won every honour in the game
Carrick’s standards are so high he has won every honour in the game – the Club World Cup, Champions League, five Premier Leagues, the FA Cup, three League Cups and several Community Shields.

Not surprisingly the 2008 Champions League victory over Chelsea in Moscow was the highlight of his career and he is trying to reassemble that team for the testimonial game he has been awarded by United.

So far Edwin Van Der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Neville have confirmed they will play in the game on June 4 at Old Trafford against an All-Stars XI featuring Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Michael Owen.

“It would be great to get every single player together but there are reasons I can’t say 100 per cent at the moment who is going to be there,” he said. “Most of them will be there. Carlos said he would love to play but didn’t know where he’d be and since then he’s gone to China.

“I’ve spoken to Ronaldo but it’s the Champions League final the day before!”

All the proceeds from the game will be used for a cause close to his heart. He was hugely influenced by the time he spent at the famous Wallsend Boys Club in his native North-east and wants to set up similar sustainable community-centred projects in Manchester and Newcastle to give youngsters somewhere to go after school.

“When I was growing up a spent a lot of time at the Wallsend Boys Club and it’s had a huge influence on my career. I want to give youngsters the sense of belonging that I had there.”

Tickets for the game can be obtained from www.manutd.com/carricktestimonial or telephone 0161 868 8004. All proceeds will go to www.michaelcarrickfoundation.org.
