Enrique announced on Wednesday that he would be leaving Barcelona after three years at the Nou Camp.

His position at the club became untenable after their 4-0 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last month.

Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli is the favourite to take over with Everton and Tottenham managers Ronald Koeman and Mauricio Pochettino also in the frame.

And Diario Gol claim Messi wants five players signed regardless of who take over.

The Argentina international is specific in his demands as he wants the club to mount a challenge on all fronts for next season.

Firstly, Messi believes the club need a striker to replacing the toiling Paco Alcacer.

The Spain international has struggled since signing from Valencia in the summer and two names are on the list to replace him.

They are Celtic’s Moussa Dembele and Eibar’s Sergi Enrich, with both forwards thought to be willing to play second fiddle to Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez up top.

Barcelona’s No.10 reckons the club sorely need a central midfielder.

With Andre Gomes flopping since his summer arrival - and Andres Iniesta approaching the latter stages of his career - it has become a problem area for the Catalan giants.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti and Real Madrid’s Isco have been linked with move stop the Nou Camp.

Messi thinks that Barcelona have failed to replace Dani Alves and need a right-back.

Enrique has played Sergio Roberto in that position this season but his preferred position is in the middle of the park.

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin is Messi’s preferred choice to fill the void left by Alves’ exit.

An addition demand is a central defender.

Though Gerard Pique has been as consistent as ever, the likes of Samuel Umtiti, Jeremy Mathieu and Javier Mascherano have been hit and miss.

Colombian Yerry Mina is an option after thriving at Ajax this season.

Barcelona reportedly have a deal in place to sign him but can choose to complete the transfer at any point over the next two years.

Paris Saint-Germain star Marquinhos is a potential acquisition along with Roma’s Kostas Manolas and Athletic Bilbao’s America Laporte.

The final signing Messi wants is Sampaoli as manager.

Reports have been in the offing for some time that the Chilean is his No1 choice to succeed Enrique and, with the player having great influence at the club, he could get his wish.
